O anúncio é já do final de Junho: a Força Aérea norte-americana está a financiar um projecto de investigação que inclui o estudo dos blogs.
Pode ler-se no Press Release:
“Blog research may provide information analysts and warfighters with invaluable help in fighting the war on terrorism”.
O projecto, a desenvolver em três anos, intitula-se “Automated Ontologically-Based Link Analysis of International Web Logs for the Timely Discovery of Relevant and Credible Information” e contará com um financiamento de 450 mil dólares.
